Indian Army to recruit 440 porters

AALO, Aug 14: Indian Army is planning to raise a porter company which would cater to its rising requirements in various locations in the state. A recruitment rally for West Siang will be conducted simultaneously at Tato, Monigong and Mechuka on September 17 to recruit 440 porters. They are needed at Monigong (290), Tato (40), Mechuka (60) and Kaying (50).  The Army has sought all civilian cooperation to make the event successful. (DIPRO)
