RGU short listed for NITI Aayog project: VC informs governor

ITANAGAR, May 21: Rajiv Gandhi University has been short listed to set-up Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC) project under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) of NITI Aayog, its vice chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha told Governor Brig. (Retd) B.D. Mishra during a review meeting at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.

The RGU-ACIC project aims at promoting culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in India and taken up as collaborative research project under Indian Central Himalayan Universities Consortium, said Prof Kushwaha, when assistant professor (management) Arindam Chakrabarty gave a PowerPoint presentation to facilitate discussion.

Highlighting various ongoing activities and research projects, Prof Kushwaha said that a social science research project on rural and boarder areas of the state would be taken up soon. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and commissioner to governor Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda were also present. (PRO)
