ITANAGAR, May 04: The unidentified body found from NEEPCO dam in Yazali on Friday has been identified by her parents as their 26-27-year-old daughter, resident of Yoglu village under Pistana circle of Keyi-Panyor district, Lower Siang district SP Keni Bagra said.
A NEEPCO official had spotted the body first, after which it was sent Ziro mortuary, postmortem was conducted in Gyati Takka General Hospital there on Saturday, before handing over the mortal remains to her family for last rites.
The body was identified by her father and brother and hinted about her mental illness, the SP said, adding a case has been registered at Yazali police station and investigations launched.
