2 rescued flying squirrels released to DEWS

From Our Correspondent PASIGHAT, Jan 28:  One Mibom Pangging of Namsing village under Mebo sub-division released a pair of flying squirrel at Sibiyamukh of Wildlife range of D. Ering Wildlife Sanctuary on Thursday in  presence of range officer Domek Koyu. After releasing the flying squirrels, Pangging said that he had rescued them from near his house from a fallen tree holes in Namsing village, some 52-km from here. “I decided to hand them over to the wildlife department, and informed DFO (wildlife) Tasang Taga accordingly.
