Ziro expects bumper kiwi harvest

ZIRO, Sept 16: This headquarters town of Lower Subansiri is expecting bumper Kiwi harvest as per inspection report of an expert team comprising of Kiwi Gardens Cooperative Society (KGCS) team led by its secretary Gyati Loder, DHO Komri Murtem and HDO Pura Obing. The team, after inspecting kiwi gardens in and around Ziro on Sunday, attributed the bumper harvest this year to cultivation with scientific management adopted by the farmers coupled with favourable climatic condition during pollination and fruit setting period.
