YACHULI, Nov 23: Yachuli MLA Likha Saaya, after inaugurating newly built cement concrete (CC) road at Peni village here on Thursday last, asked the villagers not to shift from village to state capital Itanagar.
While looking for peace in villages our people are more inclined towards city life, he said, adding “If the villagers and today’s youth don’t prefer to settle down in village how the villages would develop,” he questioned and urged them to stay as the GoAP has prioritized rural infrastructure development.
“My vision is to provide better educational and good medical facilities to improve living standard in villages. There should be a modal school at Peni village to impart quality education which will be a reality soon”, he assured.
Stressing on quality education, he asked the youths to study with commitment instead of indulging in various organization and unions creating problems in GoP developmental works as commonly seen. They should take advice from many senior bureaucrats and officers of the constituency, from which youths should take advice and support for cracking various competitive exams besides running behind departments and minister for futile reasons, he added.”
“Being a political representative of the Yachuli constituency it’s my priority to work for the people as it’s my job. My concentration is much on education, health and good communication, once this three is done our constituency and people will be having the best life ever, Saaya added.”
Meanwhile he also assured to work on the memorandum submitted by the All Peni Welfare Association (APWA) for the construction of CC road to the existing of around 5 km and construction of multipurpose hall at the village. The programme was attended by engineers, PRI members and the villagers.
