ATDSU announces stir

TAWANG | Apr 17 | All Tawang District Students’ Union and members of ‘Operation Clean Drive’ in a memorandum to the deputy commissioner apprised him of land encroachment issue in the district and sought his intervention in surrendering either refugee card or ST certificate by many families. 2 die, 4 hurt as car falls into river

From Our Correspondent TAWANG | Mar 26 | In a tragic accident two car from Tawang heading towards Dirang skidded off the road fell into a river killing 2 occupants, identified as Lama Jagmu W/o Rinchin Bomdir, Tawang, Phurpa Gombu s/o Rinchin and rest four other were seriously injured. Police along with local people rescued the four injured immediately and rushed them to hospital. Efforts were on to retrieve the mortal remains of the deceased when the last report came in.
