General Hospital patient wards given face lift

AALO, June 19: The maternity and general patient wards at General Hospital have been given face lift with luxurious beds, shelves, painting and tiles by replacing all old and obsolete infrastructures for comforts of the patients.

All materials for renovation were procured directly from production centres and fitted to generate a sense of cleanliness, said DMO Dr Moli Riba, adding this is just the beginning and gradually the hospital could be given better shape with Govt. funding and sought cooperation of one and all.

Medical superintendent Dr Linya Lollen stressed on maintaining sense of discipline as random spitting around walls and floors of the hospital was against cleanliness. All medical staff on duty have been alerted not to tolerate any mischief in the hospital and take care of all new properties. (DIPRO)
