AALO, Mar 06: The District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC) along with North East Frontier Technical
University (NEFTU) organized anawareness on ‘Harmful effects of smoking and other tobacco products consumption in university campus recently aimed at eradicating use of tobacco among the youths.
As the NEETU intended to spread consciousness against tobacco usage, psychiatrist-cum-social worker Dr. Obang Mize, speaking as chief spokesperson, termed tobacco
consumption as the biggest epidemic and suggested that the educational institutes should display bi-lingual anti tobacco consumption pamphlets for raising awareness among students.
The DTCC assured full support to the NEETU to to eradicate tobacco addiction within the young generation. (DIPRO)
