DIRANG | Apr 06 | Governor P B Acharya today exhorted officials regional sheep breeding farm at Sangti to properly maintain the farm to yield best wool to benefit district’s sheep rearers.
He advised them to use latest technologies and innovative ideas and emphasised that the farm should financially empower the locals.
He was pleased to learn that all products – sheep wool and dung – were sold to local people and many local people are engaged in the farm.
Earlier, deputy director Dr. H. Tamai briefed the governor about the lone sheep breeding farm with 240 sheeps. (PRO)
