Raise KGBV capacity from 100 to 150: Tagik

ITANAGAR | Apr 29 | Kurung Kumey ZPC Sangha Tagik,in a memorandum to  education secretary has urged to increase  capacity of Koloriang Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya in Kurung Kumey district from 100 to 150.

Pointing out that Koloriang-based Taru Memorial Society has been given the responsibility since 2008 by state governor to run  KGBV smoothly under SSA Mission, which also  serves as a feeder school for Sarli and Parsi Parlo circles.

Its strength is only 100 girl students per academic session since its establishment a decade ago but it was incapable of meeting the growing number of students in recent years being the lone girls’ school with residential facility.
