Rebia assures to redress local peoples’ grievances

KARSINGSA | Jun 27 | UD, Land Management Minister Nabam Rebia today assured to redress the grievances of local denizens during his visit to few villages of Karsingsa panchayat under Banderdewa circle.

The PRI leaders led by ZPM and ASM, in a six-point memorandum, demanded infrastructure development at local Govt middle school including a double-storied building, boundary wall, teachers quarters, upgradation to secondary school, 2.5-km link road from NH-415 to Abo-Tani village upto Duda Namchang, 200-mtr flood protection to save Karsingsa-II Govt primary school, flood protection against Karsingsa Nallah at Tapic colony, land protection at local CRC and approach road from NH-415 to Nya Namchang.

Rebia, in his address, said hinted the need to upgrade Karsingsa MS to secondary and assured to urge education department and DC to send proposal including for all infrastructures and directed accompanying RWD engineer  to prepare alignment and prospective for include 2.5-km road under PMGSY.

Lot of people have encroached upon the GoAP and RWD would build CO office in its campus to facilitate smooth administration for evicting the encroachers, he said and urged the locals not to encroach upon school, college and hospital lands being essential for public utility besides giving scope for future expansion.

On fund constraint, he said that there may be few more hydropower projects, like NEEPCO at Yazali and Bichom which would not only generate power but earn revenue to be used for state development. However, he took a dig at previous Govt for not doing things properly.

On request for ringwell, he assured to provide five ringwells for those villages which have submitted proposal under AMRUT project of UD. He also urged local leaders to cooperate with PRI leaders and officers in executing GoAP works properly in greater public  interest, but without any interference and hindrance.
