ITANAGAR| Jun 29 | Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) has urged the authority concerned of the GoAP, particularly health department to immediately revive the most beneficial scheme CM’s Universal Health Insurance scheme (CMUHIS) which was launched by former chief minister Nabam Tuki.
Though, the GoAP clarified on the issue, but claimed that the most advantageous scheme for the poor people has been discontinued due to reported internal differences and lackadaisical attitude among the responsible authorities, the ACS claimed in a statement.
On inquiry, the ACS was told that the scheme was withdrawn due to frequent change of chairman of the scheme and internal differences.
Many people from remote areas are still unaware of its discontinuation and have become helpless under many situations. It was running successfully two years ago and numerous people benefitted from it, the ACS said and urged the GoAP to immediately short out all problems for its early revival in the greater interest of the common people.
