ITANAGAR| Aug 11 | The All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) in a representation to Dy Chief Minister Chowna Mein today sought his intervention in expediting the construction of proposed Itanagar-Banderdewa Highway.
AAPPTF president Dobing Sonam informed that the affected land owners are ready to part with their land for the purpose barring few with vested interests.
Stating that despite clearance from the Centre, the GoAP is yet to implement the first phase of the project; dismantling structures falling within the ROW.
He further stated that though person like Kipa Babu has offered to give out his equipments and land for carrying out the eviction process and despite full cooperation from major whole, the GoAP is yet to initiate any process. The AAPPTF threatened to launch democratic movement if the highway work execution does not begin immediately.
