NYAPIN | Sep 21 | The local people are ready to donate land to set up a Puroik Rehabilitation Centre (PRC) here, CM’s advisor Tai Tagak said during his recent two-day tour of the area.
The living condition and other basic need was the key factor of visit. The local inhabitants always ignored leading to their sufferings, he said and stressed on fast tracking development, particularly education.
Puriok people should be educated for them to join the national mainstream, he said and assured the GoAP support for speedy transformation of their socio-cultural status to end their dependence on others, Tagak said.
Officers led by ADC Kento Riba, BJP leader Tadar Akap and some Puriok people accompanied Tagak.
