LONGDING | Oct 29 | Longding, though state’s 17th district was born in 2012, but a hotel was set up in its district HQs here after five years only on August 15 last.
The only Hotel Taham-cum-Restaurant established by entrepreneur Tilali Taham, near helipad here, has proved to be with a difference for its hospitality and services. Once any guest checks in, owner’s younger brother Tinglem as caretaker provides all possible help smilingly including toiletries and sleeper, which many hotels do not provide in many cities of the country.
The Trans-Arunachal Highway progressing at a fast speed once complete would give a new thrust to its huge tourism potential with inflow of tourists. More hotels would be required to accommodate the visitors.
Owner Taham, aware of what future has in store for the district, told this daily that he has planned expansion of the hotel with additional facilities to make the guests feel at home and return as Arunachal ambassadors to promote tourism.
