Bagra opens Kodam CO office building

AALO | Dec 13 | Functioning of circle office at Kodam was very  essential to keep pace with administrative needs of the thickly populated Ubu Bango people, Deputy Speaker Tumke Bagra today said after inaugurating the new  office building built by WRD today.

Rs. 10 crore has been sanctioned at his imitative to develop Nikte-Nyorak road that connects the circle, he said to the thunderous applause of the gathering.  He sought cooperation of Bango officers and executing agencies to bring more tangible developments in the area.

Responding to three-point memorandum submitted by CO Lijum Ete, on behalf of Ubu Bango people pleading for sanction of regular posts, CO quarters, barrack for officials and internal link road, he assured to take up on priority basis.

Kodum-Nikte road is considered as one of the most important roads that connects nine circles of West Siang and Kaying circle of Siang with Assam besides moment of army to border circle of Mechuka and Monigong.

RWD CE Doli Nyodu, speaking as guest of honour, stressed on unity and oneness among Bango people  to accelerate development and make the area a crime free zone with need for policing.

West Siang DC Swetika Sachan said that every effort is being made to make the CO office functional for greater welfare of the people while appointment order  of Bomken Sora as in-charge CO was handed over on the spot.

Ubu Bango Welfare Society chairman Hoksum Ori ani secretary Gomo Sora highlighted 25-year-long movement of the people for the CO office. HGB Jhumsor Rime sought steps to meet the essential needs to make the circle functional. (DIPRO)
