3 students hurt in school van-dumper collision

ITANAGAR | Jan 23 | Three out of 12 students of Nirjuli VKV were hurt when the school van carrying them collided with a dumper along NH-415 near North East Nursing College of Health Science (NENCHS) on Tuesday afternoon.

Nirjuli police station sources said that the van (No. AR 01 H 9961) going toward Papu Nallah to drop the students in Naharlagun after school collided with a dumper (No. AR 01 D 3702), which was on way to collect soil from mountain cutting site.

The injured students identified as Chanda Jaycy, Liknem Mossang & Meda Kadiom (all class-VI) were rushed to nearby Tago Memorial Hospital for treatment, the sources added.
