PASIGHAT | Mar 14 | Governor Brig (Retd) B D Mishra today advised students of JNC here to prepare themselves to face future challenges by acquiring knowledge and proficiency to become self-employed as entrepreneur.
Dr Mishra, accompanied by his wife Neelam Misra, East Siang DC Tamiyo Tatak, exhorted them to join Indian armed forces as vacancies would be created in future at his initiative.
He asked NCC in-charge captain K.K. Mishra to motivate students, including cadets to join the Army as pre-recruitment trainings and coaching would be conducted by Indian Army.
He also met faculty members, visited college library and assured to provide books if list of books required is given.
Earlier, he visited Govt Polytechnic and met the students and faculty besides visited College of Horticulture & Forestry. (PRO)
