MAHADEVPUR | May 02 | Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein distributed TV sets to all 40 gaon burahs of Lekang constituency at Community Hall here on Tuesdayfulfilling their long felt demand and commitment of the GoAP.
“GBs being an important institution of Govt administration at grassroots level, they need to be updated with latest development and information” Mein said after distributing Micromax HD 32 Inch LED TV and Set Top Box to the GBs. He urged them to share information, GoAP & GoI welfare programmes & policies with the villagers bring awareness and benefit them.
Pointing out that rapid developments are taking place under the BJP Govt in the Centre and able leadership of young Chief Minister Pema Khandu in the state, he highlighted various developmental schemes implemented in his constituency and urged the people not to belief re hearsay. He reiterated his commitment to work for development and their welfare.
The TV Set is provided by the GoAP but set top box with disk by him for them to view all channels, he informed and their demands for a replacement of red coat for a lighter one for summer season and mobile handsets are being considered.
