Karate global championships: Arunachal team leaves for Jordan


NAHARLAGUN, June 29: Karate Association of India vice president Sensai Likha Tara and national coach S Deben Sharma left for Jordan today leading a team of Arunachal Karate-Do Association (AKA) team to take part in WKF Training Camp & Karate 1 Youth World Cup at Umag during July 2 to 8 next.

The team includes: Junior kumite – Abab Sangdo (-55 kg); Doni Yangfo    (-61 kg); Atum Sono (-67 kg); Kumite U-21 –Mojum Dodum(-55 kg) & Yana Bagang(-50 kg).

Moreover, the AKA has recommended names of following players to take part in 15th AKF Senior Karate Championship at Amman in Jordan during July 10 to 14 next.

The Kata team including Mesom Singhi, Goda Asha and Bamang Yamu    will be led by national coach Tai Hipik.
