ITANAGAR, July 21: The heavy rainfall created havoc in the Modirijo colony on Friday night by damaging several arterial road, land protection walls of road & village and washed away few two wheelers.
City Youth Congress president Kipa Mangal claimed that Modirijo River swelled up due to heavy downpour and started flowing at danger mark and left a trail of devastation.
Of 15 parked two-wheelers, 3 still missing are suspected to have been washed away, he said, and urged Capital district administration to take up steps for restoration of land protection of the colony.
