NARI, Aug 13: The Ramle Banggo Students Union (RBSU), in a memorandum to Lower Siang SP, has demanded immediate deployment of police personnel at sensitive New Seren area. According to RBSU
The Govt officials are feeling insecure to perform their duty at New Seren, located along Assam boundary, being a very sensitive area. People from Assam collect natural resources, like stone, timber, fishing broom for no presence of security personnel in the region to check such illegalities. Thus police deployment is inevitable, it said to justify the demand.
Chaotic situation prevails in New Seren spread in 10 villages for prevailing insecurity in the area.
