Officers trained on web portal usage

ITANAGAR, Aug 13: A day-long hands-on-training on uses of web portal and mobile application for satellite based monitoring and geo-tagging of developmental projects in Arunachal Pradesh was organized by state’s planning and investment the department in coordination with its Papum Pare district branch.

In his inaugural address to the training, themed ‘Arunachal Pradesh no longer remote with remote based sensing technology’; DC Dr. Joram Beda highlighted importance of the training for effective implementation of developmental projects. He asked all participants to take full benefits of the training.

 SRSAC director H.K Dutta also spoke while Dy. director Tana Tage gave presentation on the theme.

The password and username to respective work department HoDs in which dashborad MIS entry of 15 HoDs from line department were approved and issued password and ids and 55 mobile application users approved.

The trainees led by Papum Pare DPO M. Karga conducted field visits including six geo-tagged projects. (DIPRO)
