Taku exhorts people to end money culture in election

SEPPPA, Aug 22: “Avoid money culture during election,” Seppa East MLA Tapuk Taku exhorted about 2000 BJP workers, assembled in a meeting here today as a preparation for 2019 assembly elections.

He exhorted them to  reap benefits of development be it road, bridge, school and hospital projects by avoiding use of RTI Act, 2005 against any scheme and project because of personal enmity with any leader. He narrated the difficulties he faced while getting ongoing district hospital upgradation work worth Rs 36 crore under National Health Mission sanctioned by the GoI.

State BJP general secretary Lelung Lingfa called upon the gathering including GBs to adhere to party discipline but warned against any anti party activities.

East Kameng BJP district president Amit Lamnio expressed happiness over the sitting MLA and GS Ligfa coming to the single platform for the cause of the party. The duo has committed to work in tandem for overall development of the assembly segment under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
