IFCSAP holds district level literary competition

KOLORIANG, Sept 01: Indigenous Faith & Culture Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) organised district level literary competition to motivate students to be competitive.

IFCSAP Kurung Kumey district unit president Nisso Tania said that in all 20 selected students of class X, XI & XII from Sangram and Koloriang took part in essay and extempore speech competition. The essay competition was on ‘the role of youth in indigenous Arunachal’ while extempore speech was on ‘loss of culture and loss of identity’. The participants from Sarli and Nyapin could not attend due to weather and transportation problems.

District labour & employment officer Kipa Takia as chief judge, DDMO Taku Natung and senior VKV teacher Parsun Kiri as member were the panel of judges but prizes with certificate will be given on September 3 after declaring results will be declared , Tania said.

The judges including the Nisso Tania, in their addresses, motivated the students to be disciplined, respect elders and concentrate on studies besides talking part in extra-curricular activities while the dignitaries advised them to preserve their rich cultural heritage to protect their identity.
