DAPORIJO, Sept 01: Upper Subansiri DC Danish Ashraf, reviewed performances of teachers in view of & poor results in schools of border & remote areas of the district in a meeting on Thursday.
The meeting, attended by DDSE, administrative officers, BEO, BRC and CRC, discussed steps to prevent school dropout and strategy to ensure their re-enrolment. of district participated in this meeting and presented their views.
Special emphasis were given on schools of remote and border areas for which DC informed that numerous complaints have been received regarding absence and non-performance of schools. The BEOs were directed to take strict actions against such defaulters and recommend necessary action as per conduct rules. It was decided that all Govt schools should conduct test fortnightly for each subject for which compliance report has to be submitted to DC while timely completion of syllabus of every subject in order to impart quality education was focused.
All block BEOs were directed to conduct coordination meeting with all principals/ HMs and teacher i/cs of Govt in first week of every after two month and submit report to the DC and DDSE. All block BEOs/BRCCs were directed to inspect all schools of their respective block and submit detail status reports on residential and non-residential building, other infrastructure development and ongoing project, if any, to DC by first week of October.
The DC told that bio metric machines will be installed in all HS schools & most of the secondary schools to regulate timely attendance of teachers. (DIPRO)
