MEBO, Sep 10: Mebo MLA-cum-CM’s advisor Lombo Tayeng gave away Rs. 5.25 lakh to candidates of his assembly constituency who have qualified APPSC Combined Competitive Examination (main) as a token of support.
Tayeng advised the candidates to be more dedicated and crack the examination to make Mebo sub-division proud and asked them to make best use of his token contribution for preparing for the final exam in his address to the felicitation function at GHS School here on Sunday.
“I would be more than happy if all or most of you crack the final examination as Mebo area once had produced good numbers of officers serving the GoAP now. But of late the APPSC performance has not been satisfactory”, Tayeng said.
All Mebo Constituency Students’ Union (AMCSU) led by president Mingkiling Lego organized the event, while GHSS principal Apak Megu, in his presidential address, lauded Tayeng for helping the aspiring candidates and the AMCSU for its initiative.
This help will encourage the candidates do better, Lego added.
