Everester Jampsenpa addresses NYP campers

  • Indonesian dance reflects love is basic of peace

KALAKTANG, Sept 15: World famous Everester Dr Anshu Jampsenpa addressed about 300 participants of International Youth Leadership camp including from Indonesia and Nepal, being organized by National Youth Project here on Saturday.

After her video graphic presentation of her two trips to the highest peak of the Himalaya, she was showered with questions which she responded with pertinence smilingly.

However, the next movement was heart touching as every camper wanted a selfie with her which she allowed smilingly. Dr Jampsenpa with her elder sister came all the way from Guwahati, at the request of NYP vice president Pradeep Kumar, to attend the camp as a special guest.

However, Indonesian yoga experts Risma Herawati and I Komang Edi Susanta from Dharmaduta Shantisena Ashram Gandhi Puri clad in traditional dresses performed Asmaradana dance, choreographed by I Wayan Sari Dika SIKom to showcase “How love is basic of peace in action in our life” to the thunderous applause of the campers followed by appreciation from NYP president H P Biswas.

Noted Gandhian Agus Indra Udayana, known as Guruji, has led the five-member Indonesian team to Arunachal for the first time.
