NAMSAI, Nov 08: Peace is requisite for development, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein said and advocated modernizing and upgrading Arunachal Police to deal with rising challenges of new forms of crimes adopting modern technology, he said here on Wednesday.
Addressing sports lovers were assembled to watch final volleyball match between SP Office six and Namsai Police Station six, he said that peaceful environment is one of the major concerns of the GoAP. He announced that GoAP would accord top priority to police department to offer safety and security to the citizens.
Mein later flagged-off two tourist police vehicles for the district during the event, organized by Namsai Police to mark 46th Raising Day of Arunachal Pradesh Police.
