NAHARLAGUN, Nov 28: Capital district administration distributed relief materials, like blankets, mattresses and utensils to fire victims of C-sector here whose houses were engulfed by fire on Tuesday.
Local MLA Techi Kaso and Capital DC Prince Dhawan handed over the relief materials in presence of officers, including CO Neelam Teji, DDMO Moromi Dodum Sonam and FO Jogam A Gusar.
State BJP vice president Tame Phassang also visited the affected families and extended monetary support to the victims as immediate relief.Expressing grief over the incident, Phassang urged the people to be more cautious to avert such unfortunate incidents. (With DIPRO input)
In fact, 16 OBT houses were destroyed in a fire incident.
Phassang, BJP national council member, while visiting the spot on Wednesday distributed CGI sheets to the victims. He urged Chief Minister Pema Khandu and DyCM Chowna Mein to intervene and grant immediate compensation to them.
