Left out district secretariat buildings sanctioned: CM

TAWANG, Nov 29: The state cabinet has recently decided to build secretariat buildings in all left out districts, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said on Thursday after laying foundation stone of district secretariat building here.

Funds have been sanctioned for those districts accordingly, including Tawang, he said and assured that additional funding required for completion of secretariat buildings will be sanctioned within this year.

The GoAP will be conducting training for all MLAs and its employees for the legislature and executive to be effective in discharging their duties, he said but lauded all district GoAP employees for their sincerity and dedication to works. The GoAP would put emphasis on such trainings to make them aware of its all plans and policies. This would also facilitate hem to develop necessary ability, knowledge, skill and competency to serve the people efficiently. “We will be able to serve the public effectively only when we first ourselves become efficient and capable and become aware of our own duties and responsibilities,” he added.

MLAs Mama Natung, Jambey Tashi & Tsering Tashi and Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok also addressed the gathering including MLA PD Sona, Tawang Brigade Commander Zubin Bhatnagar and state BJP president Tapir Gao and. (PRO)
