Pasighat–Dibrugarh APST daily bus service flagged off

PASIGHAT, Jan 03: Local MLA Kaling Moyong on Thursday flagged off Pasighat–Dibrugarh 44-seater APST bus service, which will ply via Bogibeel daily in the presence of large number of gathering including  East Siang DC TamiyoTatak.

Moyong, in his address, said that the inauguration of Bogibeel road-cum-rail bridge  by Prime Minister Narendra Modi  is a new year gift for the people of  eastern belt of Arunachal & Assam in particular and the region as a whole as it helped realize long felt ed dream of the people for smooth, quick and easy travel to all places including Dibrugarh on other bank of Brahmaputra River.

The bus service will greatly benefit patients, particularly underprivileged sections, seeking medical treatment in Dibrugarh by ensuring affordable travel. Stressing on importance of public transport, he  lauded  dedicated efforts of APSTS department, led by Pasighat senior station superintendent Kabit Ering.

The PSGT-DBR APST daily service will cover 160-km and leave  here at 7 am for Dibrugarh and from Dibrugarh at 1 pm. (DIPRO)
