ITANAGAR, Jan 05: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein lauded state police led by DGP S B K Sing for improving law and order situation in the state.
Addressing who’s who of Capital Complex, including top bankers, officers, SPs from various districts and Art of Living representatives at a function in Police House here, organized by DGP on Friday evening, Mein said that police have a special responsibility to ensure peace, pre-requisite for development.
The DyCM also lauded senior journalist Pradeep Kumar for his invaluable contributions to growth of print and electronic media.
It was Dr Sushi Singh, better half of DGP, who was instrumental in making a difference in the event, which gave an opportunity to particularly senior police officers to discuss some vital issues with the DGP and seek his advice for solution.
