LUMLA, Jan 28: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday visited Eklavya Model Residential School here run by Art of Living (AoL) and inspected classrooms, library, smart classrooms, dormitory, gym, etc.
After felicitating school students who had excelled in academic and sports filed, he interacted with the children and lauded their various achievements in state and national levels. “The whole state is proud of your achievements,” he said.
The school has all necessary environments for children to grow spiritually and academically, he said and urged the students to make full use of the available learning environment. “You should feel proud and lucky that you are studying in a good institute”, he said.
Sharing his experience about visit to AoL campus in Bangalore and the yeoman service being provided by it across the world, he announced to invite AoL founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to Arunachal soon. It will be his second visit during Khandu’s tenure as CM.
The CM, accompanied by Union MoS (Home) Kiren Rijiju and local MLA Jambey Tashi, earlier inaugurated a tourist park in Mangnam village, developed by a local entrepreneur. (CMO)
