BOMDILA, Apr 26: Post Mopin was celebrated in Govt college here on Friday with traditional gaiety and fervor.
ADC as chief patron of the festival,in his address, exhorted Galo and Adi community living in West Kameng district to preserve their age-old cultural and tradition for posterity. Celebration committee president Dakter Riba wished all revelers ‘happy Mopin’.
Young damsels in best attires presented traditional dances to the melodious tune of tena tena takato, ngunuk gidi e aduku, galo nyijir e kaken ja to add colour to the celebration.
