ITANAGAR, Apr 29: Reigning Miss Arunachal Roshni Dada, 19, will represent Arunachal Pradesh in FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019 scheduled at Mumbai on June 15 next.
On Monday, 19-year-old Roshini got rousing welcome here as she would represent her state in the most prestigious beauty pageant of India on being selected in its east zone audition, organized by Miss India Organization in Assam and Kolkatta on March last. Damsels from all NE states vied for the honour during audition to select one from each state for the final show.
Roshni, a B.Sc (nursing) student, is daughter of Sasung Dada and Sanari Dada of Jeju Dada village in East Kameng district.
Speaking to media person in Arunachal Press Club here, she conveyed her gratitude to the organizer of Miss Arunachal for creating the platform that will help to rise to higher pedestal.
“I still have a long journey and need the same support as well as love to make my state proud’ she said while appreciating her parents and well-wishers for their continuous support.
When asked if she apprehended any nepotism in national arena, she categorically said: “I haven’t faced any such situation till now as all have been supportive and cooperative”.
Roshni will represent the state to compete with all beauties from across the country, Miss Arunachal organizing secretary Tai Rocket said.
“From Now on we all have to support her in all possible means to encourage her and to make her in the top,”
Beside Roshni, Dichenla Wangmo Thungon (Miss NEFA 2018 winner) and Apik Dai (Miss Arunachal 2019 Top 20 finalist and Miss NEFA 2017 2nd runner-up) also had faced the audition, Rocket said, adding the GoAP has enlisted it as state calendar event while financial assistance is given by youth affairs department to winner for the national event.
While thanking all for their support Dada Welfare Society member Tallang Dada, exhorted NE people for continuing their support to her – ‘Like, Share and Comments’ on Facebook and Instagram, the medium to win other sub titles as her victory will be the victory for the state.
