HM assures Guv to boost security of disturbed dists

NEW DELHI, May 30: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh responding to a plea of Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig. (Retd) B.D. Mishra on Thursday assured to soon strengthen security apparatus in all disturbed districts.

Dr Mishra met Singh here on Thursday when they discussed about security and other vital issues when the former briefed about state’s law and order situation, including recent incidents.

Dr Mishra also thanked him for providing adequate security forces to the state for conducting Lok Sabha and assembly elections. (PRO)

AONS adds: It may be recalled that 11 persons including sitting Khonsa West MLA Tirong Aboh on way to Khonsa for counting were massacred on May 21 last sending a wave of shock across the state.
