Elephant grass planted to check climate change

DHALA, June 14: Concerned over the impacts of climate change, members of Assam unit of Ekta Parisahd took up elephant grass plantation here under Tinsukia district on Friday to increase green cover to reduce the impacts of climate change and save all living beings, particular humanity.

Tinsukia DC Oinam Sarankumar Singh flanked by Ekta Parisah member Priti Tiwary also inaugurated a historical monument coinciding with the tree plantation programme.
