Coaching clinic for rural students open

RAGA, July 13: A coaching clinic under Acharya Gurukul Yojana, an initiative of the GoAP, to offer coaching facilities to rural area students of Kamle district, was inaugurated at GHS School here on Saturday by DC Moki Loyi.

The DC, who awarded cash, laptops and smartphones to meritorious students, lauded the GoAP s initiative to encourage and motivate students. A society is progressive when people are enlightened. Thus, the GoAP aims to create a pool of educated and enlightened students, with this flagship program, who will grow up as law abiding citizens.

But this district due to communication bottlenecks still needs hand handling in education sector, he said and underscored the role of teachers and parents in shaping the future of students. He
exhorted teachers to guide and motivate students and advised the students to use the smartphones and laptops for education purpose to become tech savvy.

Noting that girls were out performing boys, he said that in a patriarch society, like Arunachal,
motivating girl students is an encouraging step to empower women. (DIPRO)
