Execute rural road projects on mission mode: Guv to RWD

ITANAGAR, July 15:  Chairing a high-level meeting on road connectivity, with special reference to 157-km Miao-Vijoynagar road at Raj Bhavan here on Monday, Governor Brig. (Retd) B.D. Mishra stressed on strengthening rural road connectivity to execute all projects on mission mode to bring development in every corner of Arunachal Pradesh.

The officials and concerned authorities should be ready to go into the details of each project and work with anticipation to remove any cause of delay in the road construction work as socio-economic development of the rural communities, particularly agrarian community and entrepreneurs in horticulture depends, inter alia, on good road, Dr Mishra told this present including Ministers Honchun Ngandam (RWD) & Kamlung Mosang (Urban Development & Civil Supplies)  PCCF Lalramthanga, RWD secretary Kapa Kholie, RWD CE Doli Nyodu and EE M. Rike.

Advocating long term planning of all road projects and latest technologies considering difficult terrain and unpredictable climatic condition, he underscored the importance of good roads, particularly Miao-Vijoynagar road for national security (PRO)
