Appreciating the gesture of BoB, she said it would encourage the inmates for their better future which was greeted by applause of the kids who earlier presented heart touching cultural items reflecting that were leading a happy life.

Though Vijaya Bank was first to open its branch at Itanagar on 16.10.1978, but it consolidated with the BoB with its headquarters at Vadodara on 01.04.19 because of its global presence in 22 countries.  However, with the amalgamation, BOB now has 9,548 branches, second largest bank in India after State Bank of India, the bankers added.
