Assembly to go paperless soon | Speed up e-Vidhan works: Sona

ITANAGAR: Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona on Tuesday inspected ongoing e-Vidhan project, being implemented in e Assembly Secretariat.

National e-Vidhan Application is a mission mode project to digitize and paperless functioning of state legislatures. It is in  final stage and is all set to make Assembly  proceedings paperless, likely from upcoming budget session.

Once the project is implemented, each information will be available at the finger tips of the members who can use their tablets/laptops to see the list of business, read questions and other documents relating to house proceedings.

While inspecting, Sona directed the agency to ensure early completion and suggested to maintain work quality without leaving any lapse.

Meanwhilwle, informing that the project work is in the final stage and only installation work is, The project officials told the speaker that remaining installation work will start soon and training will begin from February second week, according to an Assembly release.

They also demonstrated the Speaker on the working and functioning of the e-Vidhan project.
