NAHARLAGUN, Apr 14: Local Satyam Group of Industries distributed 600 food pockets and kits to poor and needy of Banderdewa area on Tuesday followed by 500 pockets at Lekhi village while people were sent to Bhalukpong to distribute 500 food pockets.
People made a long queue but adhered to social distancing while accepting the food pockets.
It aimed at providing succor to people to overcome difficulties to some extent due to prolonged lockdown imposed to prevent spread of novel Coronavirus, a company source told this daily.
