CM seeks GoI clearance of all NH projects

ITANAGAR, Apr 28: Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended videoconference of transport and PWD Ministers of all states with Union Minister of Road Transport & Highway Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday.

When hassle free movement of goods during lockdown period was advocated in the meeting, Khandu said that movement of essential goods in his state Arunachal Pradesh is being carried out smoothly while maintaining all precautions to prevent spread of Coronavirus.

On speeding up construction work on highways, he said work on all-important state highways are being carried out during ongoing lockdown period and land acquisition issues taken up on priority.

Pointing out that connectivity is priority of his Govt, he urged him to clear all pending road projects for package-B&C of 4-laning of Itanagar-Banderdewa road, package-C of 2-lane Hukanjuri-Khonsa road of NH315A, protection & mitigation of landslides and erosions for 4-lane Hollongi-Itanagar highway.  (CMO)
