AALO, May 30: Eight-month strenuous efforts to segregate rural-urban power feeder lines, taken up by power EE Dagyom Ango succeeded on Saturday ahead of its deadline for shutdown.
The step aimed at avoiding lengthy feeder lines that run in rural areas and develops faults due to various reasons to disrupt power supply to urban areas. There will be a
single feeder line for rural areas now.
Aalo town had only one line 11 KV feeder and the department developed one more feeder line in April during lockdown-3, taking total feeder lines to four.
The power scenario of the district and adjoining districts has improved improve with this arrangement, said EE Ango, who joined a month ago. (DIPRO)
