Offer solace to all needy, Takik urges state Govt

ITANAGAR, Jun 04: Pointing out that the moving COVID-19 pandemic has created worst time in the entire country, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee labour cell chairman Yangbiu Takik on Thursday placed few grievances before the state government.

Takik, in a press release, called for mass awareness on COVID-19, distribute free ration and other essential commodities, deposit Rs. 10,000 in accounts of poorest families immediately; increase time span of present 100 to 200 working days in a year under MGNREGA to create more employment opportunities, proactive action for sanitization drive in all towns and villages of the state.

Distribution of free masks, gloves and hand sanitizers would not only ensure their safety and security but also alleviate sufferings of laborers, workers, all poor and needy people of the state in fighting the challenges posed by the pandemic virus, he added.
