ITANAGAR, July 04: India is a nation known globally for respecting humanity. Besides the central and state governments, many voluntary organizations have been working selflessly to protect humanity.

The Adarsh Nagar refugee settlement in New Delhi has been set up to accommodate those returning from Pakistan on being tortured and forced to convert to  Islamism from day one of their arrival in that country.

Many saving their lives have been returning back to India after their socio-economic condition deteriorated due to intolerable inhuman torture beyond description as reflected by their pathetic status on arrival. The camp inmates, mostly Indian minorities, have been facing numerous problems, including food, clothes and drinking water.

Newly formed Om Foundation Trust (Razi) led by chairman Sonia Arya, members Ravindra Khandelwal and Shailesh Prakash identified themselves to the cause humanity and taken initiative to distribute face masks to families of 170 inmates of to protect them from killer Covid-19 pandemic besides offering ration.

“We have contributed funds ourselves besides got support of good Samaritans like International Heritage coordinator of Hindu Heritage Academy Rahul Kumar Singh’, Sonia told this daily over telephone.

Sonia being a well-known yoga therapist has also started offering online yoga training for good health of the children. Thus, Razi has sought from all willing citizens to support these needy and hapless refugees.
