ITANAGAR, Aug 30: Governor Brig. (Retd.) B. D. Mishra and Assembly Speaker Pasang D. Sona have greeted people of Arunachal Pradesh, particularly the Keralites, on Onam Festival.
Terming it as a thanks giving festival after harvest Season by Malayalese, the governor, in his message, said that it marks the sacred traditions of remembering their legendary and joyous past. “Let this festival usher in true spirit of unity, harmony and prosperity in the society, the message added.
The speaker, in his message, prayed for peace, prosperity and brotherhood while wishing for a bumper harvest. “May the festival of Onam usher in true spirit of unity, harmony and prosperity in the society” added the message. (PROs)
