ITANAGAR, Aug 30: Former APSCS&T chairman Bamang Mangha urged the youth and students to make efforts to become worthy human being to serve the humanity.
He was addressing a function of Murh-Hatey Academic Development Society (MHADS) at DK Convention center on Sunday that saw felicitation of students who academically excelled this year.
“We were left for lack of road, power and other essential services during out time, but all these facilities are available with hundreds of Govt and private schools across the state with all facilities. The need of the hour for the students is to concentrate in studies for a secured academic career while maintaining good health,” he said.
Pointing out that very few students are coming out with flying colours academically, he advocated that without good results joining professional courses would not be possible. But those who become professionals would not be job seekers but job givers, he reasoned.
He also advised the students to make best use of mobile phone and internet facility and not to waste time in social media and playing online games.
Terming students as the future and could carry forward the legacy of indigenous traditions, cultures and ethos, MHADS chairman Bamang Tago urged them to devote time in studies to become professionals to serve the society.
The event also intended to spread awareness on COVID-19 pandemic for which all SOPs have been followed properly, he added.
